To reach our vision of a region where environmental values lead our decisions about our energy future, ASF woks with a variety of parties and funds innovative projects that mitigate the impacts of energy development and use in Appalachia by:

• reducing greenhouse gases,
• restoring streams and fisheries,
• promoting public awareness, and
• creating innovative carbon-reduction research and projects, including programs directed at the reduction, offset, sequestration, mitigation and storage of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases.
