The Board Of the Appalachian Stewardship Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of our Spring 2017 round of funding.

$35,044 to support Lambert Northeast Abandoned Mine Land  Restoration 
 
West Virginia Water Research Institute, West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia  
$32,500 to support Swamp Run #2 Acid Mine Drainage Passive Treatment Installation 
 
West Virginia Rivers CoalitionCharleston, WV in conjunction with Trout Unlimited
$27,500 to support volunteer monitoring of threatened streams and to develop a WV Trout Atlas
 
Allegheny Blue Ridge Alliance, Monterey, Virginia
$20,000 to support a coalition working to defeat the Atlantic Coast Pipeline
 
Appalachian Mountain Advocates, Lewisburg, West Virginia
$20,000 to support the Energy Accountability Project
 
West Virginia SUN, Charleston, West Virginia 
 10,000 to support renewable energy and a Solar Agricultural Co-op in West Virginia
 
Energy Efficient West Virginia, Charleston, West Virginia
$5,000 to support energy efficiency programming training
