The Board of the Appalachian Stewardship Foundation is pleased to announce our grant recipients for our Spring 2015 funding cycle.

 

Downstream Strategies, Morgantown, West Virginia
$40,000 Assessing and Implementing Energy Saving Measures in Morgantown and to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Phase 3
 
Appalachian Mountain Advocates, Lewisburg, West Virginia
$30,000 to fund the Energy Accountability Project
 
WVU, Center for Energy and Sustainable Development, Morgantown, West Virginia
 $25,000 to fund Carbon Dioxide Emission Reduction Opportunities for the West Virginia Power Sector – Phase 2 
 
West Virginia Rivers Coalition, Charleston, West Virginia  – in conjunction with Trout Unlimited
$25,000 to fund Monitoring WV and VA Streams for Impacts from Shale Gas and Pipeline Development
 
West Virginia SUN – Community Power Network, Washington, D.C.
$15,000 to fund the development of solar co-operatives in West Virginia
 
Canaan Valley Institute, Davis, West Virginia
$10,000 to fund E3: The Eighth Grade Energy Experience
