Climate Pilots: In a collaboration between the City of Kalmar in Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden in Washington DC, four households in Washington DC have been acting as Climate Pilots. They have been committed to making a difference by finding real everyday solutions to climate change, by lowering their energy usage and carbon footprint. They completed their journey as Climate Pilots in February 2010 after having completed four challenges in the areas of: food, spare time, energy and traveling/ transportation.
